Biography

A two-year guard who joined the team in the summer of 2017.

AS A JUNIOR (2017-18): Played in four games, all as a reserve … saw his first action in the season opener vs. LaVerne (Nov. 10) … played a season-high five minutes at BYU (Feb. 8).

AS A REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE (2016-17): Sat out as a transfer ... served as a practice player.

AT GRINNELL COLLEGE (2014-15 and 2015-16): Played in 45 career games, including 14 starts, during his two seasons at Grinnell College (Iowa) … averaged nine points per game and shot 39 percent from 3-point range during the 2015-16 season … scored a career-high 21 points against Knox (Jan. 21, 2016) … selected to the 2016 all-conference academic team … team led NCAA Division III in scoring during 2014-15.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played at Loyola High School in Los Angeles under coach Jamal Adams … during his senior season, the team finished with a 27-4 record and was ranked No. 19 nationally.

PERSONAL: From Manhattan Beach, California … parents are Jay and Jan Jasaitis … father studied at Boston University and works in real estate management … mother attended Pepperdine University … has one older brother, Peter, who was a member of the 2014 NCAA champion Loyola University (Chicago) men’s volleyball team … his uncle, Scott Nelson, played volleyball at Ball State and then for the U.S. national team … enjoys playing video games and other sports as well as going to the beach in his free time … majoring in computer engineering and wants to start his own software company.
