Came to Santa Clara from Huntington Beach and HuntingtonBeach High School. Immediately became a key part of the Broncoprogram, starting in 18 games as a freshman in 2006, includingstarting in Santa Clara's NCAA Tournament regional finals matchwith Indiana. He became a fixture on the field for the Broncos in2007, starting in all 22 matches, leading SCU to itssecond-straight WCC Championship and return trip to theNCAA's.
