RS JUNIOR (2012): Played alongside his brother, Ricky, during his time at Santa Clara and played in seven matches during the Broncos WCC Championship season of 2010 … proved to be a valuable reserve over his four seasons … as a final-year player in 2012, Character appeared in four games and made one start, a 3-1 SCU victory over Gonzaga (Oct. 28) ... distributed an assist in the Broncos' final game of the year, a 3-2 victory at San Diego (Nov. 11).

RS SOPHOMORE (2011): Played in seven matches during the season ... played a season-high 22 minutes at St. Mary's (Oct. 7) ... recorded a shot at home against USF (Oct. 5).

RS FRESHMAN (2010): Played in seven matches during the Broncos' WCC Championship season of 2010 ... played a season-high 12 minutes in a victory over San Jose State (Sept. 24).

(2009): Utilized a redshirt season.

HIGH SCHOOL: 2009 graduate of Christian Brothers ... senior year won state titles; and sophomore and junior year made the state finals ... team posted a 20-2-1 record in senior year ... played for Rogerio Lima ... all-state his senior year and Best of Prep finalist ... scored 14 goals and dished out nine assists as a senior after scoring 11 goals as a junior ... member of NHS and National Spanish Honor Society ... played for MFC and was coached by Richard Bute; and team made the state finals his final season.
