SENIOR (2014): Has played in 16 games this season … recorded one shot attempt against LMU … tallied two shots and one shot on goal in 4-1 victory over Pacific … attempted one shot against Maryland … recorded two shots in 1-1 tie with USF … collected one assist against LMU … attempted one shot in 2-0 win over Massachusetts.

JUNIOR (2013): Recovering from injury in the 2012 season, Vass worked his way back to play in eight matches for the Broncos … for the second year in a row, Vass was named to the WCC All-Academic team for his 3.62 GPA … attempted one shot at San Jose State (Sept. 19) … attempted a shot at LMU (Oct. 6).

SOPHOMORE (2012): Injury limited Vass' playing time in 2012 and he underwent surgery immediately following the season ... played in 10 games and made one start, at North Carolina State (Sept. 2) ... scored in the season-opener against California (Aug. 24) at Buck Shaw Stadium in Santa Clara ... distributed the game-winning assist at home against LMU (Sept. 30).

FRESHMAN (2011):
One of the top freshman in the West Coast Conference ... named to the league's all-freshman team ... played in 15 games overall and started 11 at midfield ... scored four goals, including netting a pair of game-winners ... scored the initial goal in a 4-0 rout over Nebraska-Omaha (Sept. 9) - in just his second-ever collegiate game ... recorded a season-high four shots and scored five days later in a 4-2 road victory over No. 14 Cal (Sept. 16) ... his second game-winner came at home against WCC foe Gonzaga (Oct. 2), a 2-0 SCU win ... scored a clutch goal late in the second half to fuel an improbable SCU comeback win at USF (Nov. 1) ... his play helped Santa Clara post the best overall record in the WCC, 11-5-4.

HIGH SCHOOL:
Played for the Bayern Munich U-15 team as a young player … also played for SE Freising youth team and VFB Hallbergmoos men’s program … was able to play anywhere in the midfield and can use both feet equally well… helped SE Freising and VFB Hallbergmoos win league championships … took part in the scouting program for the Hamburger SV and 1860 Munich before being chosen by Bayern Munich … his prep career was halted from 2005-2007 due to injury, but returned to make the men’s team with VFB Hallbergmoos … played tennis during that injury period and attended Oskar-Maria-Graf Gymnasium in Neufahrn, Germany, which did not field a soccer team … invited to Santa Clara’s summer elite camp, where he eventually was recruited and decided to attend SCU … competed with the FC Tucson club team in Arizona prior to attending SCU.

Born in Northampton England as the son of Sinclair and Anne Vass … father, Sinclair, is Scottish and mother, Anne, is Belgian … has one younger sister, Julie … his family now lives in San Jose … can speak three languages, German, English and French … outstanding prep student ... Major is Finance.
