HIGH SCHOOL: Graduate of Henry M. Gunn High School in Palo Alto, California ... helped the team win the Christmas Cup tournament as a freshman and was named MVP. 

CLUB: Helped lead the Palo Alto Soccer Club team to the playoffs in both the u16 and u17 seasons.  

GET TO KNOW MATTHEW: Major is undecided ... enjoys hiking and watching horror movies ... helped coach soccer to special education players.
