2010 PCSC Academic Honor Roll
AS A SENIOR IN 2011: Started in 38 of the team’s 39 games and all 20 PCSC contests, primarily as the Broncos catcher … had 10 hits in 50 at-bats during league play, homering and driving in six runs … on the year she had 17 hits, including two homers, two doubles and two triples … hit an RBI double in the season-opener at San Jose State (Feb. 20) … had back-to-back RBI games in an early-season tournament in Fort Collins, Colo., homering against Colorado State (Mar. 4) … tripled during a two-hit, two-RBI performance in the final game of a weekend series at Cal State Bakersfield (Apr. 10) … hit a two-run homerun against LMU (Apr. 16) … posted a three-game hitting streak late in the year, which included a game at No. 9 California (Apr. 27) … closed out the year strong by going 4 for 8 with a double and RBI at St. Mary’s (May 7-8).
AS A JUNIOR IN 2010: Key player for the Broncos appearing in all 45 games ... also an excellent student, named to the PCSC Academic Honor Roll … started 44 times … majority of starts came at catcher with 12 at first base and two as designated hitter … tied for the team lead by hitting seven doubles … compiled nine RBI and drew 17 walks … tied for second on the team in multiple-RBI games … was fifth on the team with a .970 fielding percentage … posted .322 on-base percentage … went 2-for-3 at the plate with a double and a triple while adding an RBI and a run against Cal Poly (3/20) … went 1-for-4 with a pair of RBI and a double against CS Bakersfield (3/28) … went 2-for-3 with two RBI and two doubles against St. Mary’s (5/1) … had two hits, scored a run and had an RBI against San Diego (5/8).
AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2009: Started in 42 of 47 games played ... batted .235 ... had four homers, six doubles, 27 hits and scored 10 runs ... had 12 RBI and an on-base percentage of .302 ... vs. Loyola Marymount (4/10)--hit a two RBI home run to tally three runs for the Broncos ... vs. Loyola Marymount (4/11)--went 3-for-5 with a run.
