AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2013: Appeared in six games … pitched 2.2 innings vs. St. Mary’s on Apr. 14 … struck out one while pitching 2.1 innings cs. BYU on Apr. 20 … pitched 1.0 inning vs. USD on May 5.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2012: Fought through a hand-injury that kept her out of the lineup for the majority of April … appeared in 21 games as a pitcher and four times as the designated player … started eight games inside the circle (appeared 11 more times in relief) … threw a pair of complete games, including her best outing of the year, an early-season start vs. Seattle (Feb. 24), allowing two earned runs and six hits in seven complete innings … struck out a season-high four batters twice, first in five-plus innings vs. CS Fullerton (Feb. 18) and again vs. James Madison (Mar. 7) … totaled 21 K’s in 55 1/3 innings and owned a 9.27 ERA …  allowed just three homers … made nine starts in the offensive lineup, getting 19 at-bats, registering four hits on the year … doubled against Seattle (Feb. 24) and had an RBI vs. Brown (Mar. 24) .. … one of three Broncos to play error-free defense throughout the entire season.

HIGH SCHOOL/AMATEUR: Highly accomplished amateur player and current member of the Peruvian Senior National Team and the Peruvian U-19 National Team … led Peru to the Bronze Medal in the 2009 XVI Juegos Deportivos Bolivarianos … also helped Peru capture the Silver Medal at the 2011 Copa Apemude Tournament in Lima … starred at Gainesville High School as a freshman, sophomore and junior before transferring to Oak Hall School … served as team captain for both programs and was named the team’s MVP at both schools … threw a perfect game at Oak Hall in 2011 and a number of no-hitters … 2011 Florida Athletic Coaches Association (FACA) High School 1A Softball All-State Team … 2011 FACA All-Star North Softball Team … 2011 Miracle Sports Florida High School 1A Softball All-State Second Team … Jeffrey Meldon TV20 Scholar Athlete of the Week (April 21, 2011) … 2009 FACA 5A Softball Academic All-State Team … 2009 Miracle Sports Florida High School 5A Softball All-State Third Team … 2011 Gainesville Sun 1A-2A Softball All-Area First Team … twice named Gainesville Sun 3A-6A Softball All-Area First Team ... played travel ball for the Gold Coast Hurricanes, coached by Marty Cooper.

PERSONAL: Born in Gainesville, Fla. … daughter of Art Bautista-Hardman and Gigi Geiger … has one younger sister, Alex … excellent student who won numerous academic awards as a prep … also lettered in soccer at both Gainesville High School and Oak Hall School, earning all-star and all-state honors on the soccer field … studying in Santa Clara’s school of Arts and Sciences.
