AS A FRESHMAN IN 1998: Finished with a team leading 39 pitching appearances... recorded a 10-15 record on the mound...led the Broncos in wins (10), innings pitched (177.3), complete games (16), shutouts (3) and strikeouts (30)... batted .194 for the season in 62 plate appearances... was named to the All-Tournament squad at the San Diego State Invitational after shutting down the host Aztecs in a 2-1 Santa Clara victory... finished the season with five consecutive victories, including four straight during the Western Intercollegiate Softball League Tournament... posted a 3.29 ERA in the WISL while posting a pair of shutouts... also appeared at first base.
HIGH SCHOOL: Saw time at pitcher, shortstop and first base for coach Wendy Close at Cascade High School in Everett, Wash... earned first team All-Wesco League honors after compiling a 1.21 ERA... batted .328 with 29 RBI and seven stolen bases as a captain in senior year... as a junior, was named first team All-Wesco Utility Player, and her team's Most Inspirational Player for a second straight year... earned second team All-Wesco Designated Player honors as a sophomore... was team MVP as a freshman...also lettered in volleyball... a recipient of the Outstanding Student Award.
