2022 Second Team All-WCC
AS A REDSHIRT SENIOR in 2023: Started in 47 of 48 games played ... all 47 starts came at left field ... batted 22 times from the fifth spot in the lineup and 10 times in the cleanup spot ... named WCC Player of the Week on Feb. 27 after hitting two home runs and driving in 10 runs during the Silicon Valley Classic I Tournament ... hit for a .254 batting average ... had three home runs including a grand slam against UC Santa Barbara (Feb. 25) ... had seven multi-hit and multi-RBI games each ... tied for the 11th in the WCC with 24 RBIs ... second on the team with 27 runs ... tied for the team-lead and tied for second in the WCC with 14 stolen bases.
AS A REDSHIRT JUNIOR in 2022: All-WCC Second Team ... Appeared in 41 games and started 35 ... made 32 starts at left field and three as the designated hitter ... had a slashline of .303/.346/.408 ... second on the team in batting average and slugging percentage ... in league play, led the Broncos with a .385 batting average, .654 slugging percentage and seven RBIs going 10-for-26 in nine games with a .429 on-base percentage ... slugged first career home run against Pacific (April 10) ... had four multi-hit games including a career first three-hit game against San Diego (May 8) ... also had four multi-RBI games ... drove in a career-high three runs against Pacific (April 9).
AS A JUNIOR IN 2021: Appeared in 26 games and started 25 … hit .155 with a triple … scored four runs and drove in two … had one stolen base … knocked in a run vs. Stanford (Feb. 23) … had a triple and a run scored at Sacramento State (March 5) … knocked in a run at Fresno State (April 6).
JUNIOR COLLEGE: Attended Cabrillo College ... hit .490/.539/.779 with 51 hits, four doubles, four triples, six home runs, 37 runs scored, and 14 stolen bases.
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Scotts Valley ... hit .386/.466/.514 with two home runs, 22 RBIs, and 19 stolen bases ... first team all-conference each of her last three years ... three tim e SVHS Defeinsive Player of the Year ... Female Scholar Athlete of the Year ... team won three league championships and were a CCS finalist once.
GET TO KNOW LAUREN: Brother Lewis plays soccer for San Jose State ... Valley Churches United Missions volunteer ... in her free time enjoys dirt biking and surfing ... former member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee ... graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biology and a minor in public health ... training to be a phlebotomist and will work toward her phlebotomy certification.
