AS A FRESHMAN IN 2000: Received the Jamie Wayland award from her teammates for her hard work and dedication during the season... saw action in three games... recorded two putouts on the season.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played catcher for coaches Jon Western and Kathy McClintock at Tahoe-Truckee (Calif.) High School... led the team to consecutive Division I Championships... batted .350 with three home runs as a senior... voted team's Most Valuable and Most Improved Player... also lettered in soccer and basketball and was named to All-League teams in both... honored as the state of Nevada's Female Athlete of the Year.
