AS A JUNIOR IN 2025: Played in 13 games, started in six ... made all six starts at third base ... went 1-for-15 with a run and an RBI ... had a single against Saint Louis (Feb. 7) ... had a sacrifice bunt ... committed one error ain 13 chances for a 92.3 fielding percentage.  

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2024: Played in six games, started in three ... all three starts were at third base ... went 2-for-9 for a .222 batting average ... had an RBI as a pinch hitter against Wagner (March 3) ... errorless in nine chances.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2023: Played in nine and started in four games ... all four starts came at third base ... finished the year 3-for-14 (.214 batting average) with a double and an RBI ... had a three-game hit streak ... did not commit an error in nine chances.

HIGH SCHOOL: A graduate of St. Francis High School in Watsonville, California ... named First Team SCCAL as a junior and first team All-Pacific Coast Athletic League as a freshman ... part of the league championship team as a freshman ... in 38 varsity games, posted a slashline of .564/.587/1.230 ... 36 of her 66 career hits went for extra bases including 19 home runs with 15 of them coming during senior year.  

CLUB: 2021 Triple Crown Colorado Sparkler 18U Elite Division Champions ... selected to the Colorado Sparkler All Star Game in 2018 & 2019.  

GET TO KNOW MARIAH: Born and raised in Watsonville, California ... parents are Shonn and Anna Montalvo ... father was an athlete and got her into sports at a young age, growing up with a love for sports and being active ... favorite sports to play are softball and basketball ... enjoys going on lake trips with family, spending time with friends, baking, and being outdoors ... National Honors Society member the last two years at St. Francis High ... CSF Member during sophomore, junior and senior years ... recognized with Academic First Honors from sophomore to senior years ... cousin Doug Holley wrestled at San Jose State and CSU Bakersfield in the late 1980's.
