Biography

Returning starting point guard and a second-year team captain...has started all but one game in her career... has posted more than100 assists each year... is a two-time honorable mention WCCselection and the 1999 WCC Freshman of the year... with 100 careerthree-pointers, is only the sixth Bronco all-time to reach thatmark... spent this past summer playing in the Blue Angels SummerLeague in Washington with teammates Julie Butler, Kayla Huss andQuinn Thomas.

 

AS A JUNIOR IN 2000-01: Named to the honorablemention All-WCC Team... also named to the WCC All-Academic firstteam... led the league in assist average at 5.14 and was third inassist-to-turnover ration at 1.40... started all but one gameduring the season... sprained left ankle on Dec. 5 and did notstart against California on Dec. 10... marked the first time incareer that she did not start, ending a string of 64 games... didplay 27 minutes and finished with 12 points, making eight of 10free throws at the end of the game to seal the victory... nailed agame-winning three-pointer with 39 seconds left in regulation tolead the Broncos in an upset of then-10th-ranked Texas Tech...finished the afternoon with a season-high 17 point, six reboundsand five assists, while making all three field goal attempts frombehind the arc... named the WCC's co-Player of the Week for Jan. 2,averaging 12.3 points and 3.7 assists per game in leading SCU totwo victories... registered a career-high 13 assists against12th-ranked Oregon on Dec. 2... posted 13 six-assist games... was aperfect 8-8 from the free throw line in the last 30 seconds at SanFrancisco to seal the victory... that was included in a mark of 24straight free throws in league play, spread over eight games (2-2vs. LMU, 2-2 at SMC, 10-10 at USF, 4-4 vs. Portland, 1-1 vs. SanDiego, 2-2 at San Diego, 3-5 at LMU)... reached the double-digitassist mark in two games this season... scored 12 points, includingthree straight three-pointers, during a 23-0 Santa Clara run in thefirst half against San Diego on Jan. 31... scored 19 points vs. SanFrancisco despite spraining right ankle in the second half... added15 points and five assists in a loss to Saint Mary's two dayslater... sprained left ankle again the following weekend, the lastof WCC play.

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 1999-2000: Named an honorablemention All-WCC player... also named Rawlings/WCC player of theweek for the Dec. 6... started in all 30 games at point, averaging30.6 minutes per contest... averaged 9.7 points and 5.2 assists...was 20th in the WCC in points per game... led the team in assistswith 155, third best in school history... led the WCC in assistsand assists per game with 5.2... was second in three-pointers onthe team with 41... is ninth in school history in careerthree-pointers made with 63... recorded 11 double-digit scoringgames... scored a career-high 23 points going 7 for 9 from the freethrow line and added 7 assists in a victory against California...fourth in the WCC and second on the team with a .765 free throwpercentage making 65 of 85 in the season...went 7 for 7 from theline and had 22 points and 9 assists in an overtime win atPortland... also recorded a school record for minutes played in agame with 43...led the team in scoring in six games... went 7 for11 (.636) from the field and a career-high five three-point fieldgoals (5 of 5) scoring 19 points against Gonzaga... led the team inassists in 20 games... recorded 10 assists against San Francisco...was seventh in the WCC and second on the team with a .366three-point field goal percentage.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 1998-99: Named the 1999 WestCoast Conference Freshman of the Year... started all 29 games atpoint guard... averaged 6.6 points and 4.1 assists per game... shot.393 from three-point range, connecting on 22-of-56 shots... ledSCU in assists with 120 and ranked fourth in the WCC in assistaverage at 4.1 per game... 120 assists places her ninth on theschool's single-season charts... scored 15 points on 5 of 6shooting, including 3 of 3 from three-point range, in WCCTournament victory over Gonzaga.. also dished out four assists andgrabbed five rebounds... had 13 points and six assists in victoryat Loyola Marymount... had two points, five assists and sevenrebounds at Pepperdine... scored seven points and added fiveassists in victory vs. San Francisco... registered nine assists invictory at San Francisco... added 15 points, including 8 of 8 fromthe free throw line... dished out nine assists in the victory vs.Portland... also added 16 points and career-high seven rebounds in36 minutes of action... scored 18 points in victory at Gonzaga...dished out six assists and added six points in win at Portland...finished with seven points and an assist in 13 minutes of actionagainst Loyola Marymount... tallied six points, five assists and acareer-high five steals in loss at San Diego... named to the SantaClara Diet Coke Shootout All-Tournament Team after averaging 10.5points and 2.5 assists in Santa Clara's two victories over Rice andSouthern Illinois... dished eight assists in first collegiate gameat Fresno State.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played point guard at Bothell(Wash.) High School... averaged 16 points, 3 rebounds and 5 assistsduring career while shooting 43 percent from the floor... holds theschool's all-time steals mark with 347... led Bothell to the KingcoLeague title as a senior... a three-time All-Kingco First Teamselection... as a senior, named honorable mention USA TodayAll-America and Kingco MVP after averaging 18 points, 5 reboundsand 7 assists... played for head coach Dennis Olson... also playedsoccer as a freshman... named the Scholar Athlete of the Year andschool Valedictorian after compiling a 4.0 grade point average...named North Shore Citizen Female Athlete of the Year... played inthe Washington vs. Oregon High School All-Star game and East-WestWashington High School All-Star game.
