Coach Bento-Jackson on Cozad: "Michelle hascome back for her senior season as a completely different playerfrom a conditioning standpoint. AT SAN JOAQUIN DELTA COLLEGE: Played for headcoach Gina Johnson at San Joaquin Delta College in Stockton...averaged 19.5 points in 2002-03, the fourth best average in thestate... also ranked second in free throw percentage (.820), fieldgoal percentage (.482) and three-point field goal percentage(.362)... was twice named the most valuable player of the BayValley Conference and earned first team All-State honors eachseason... as a freshman, received California State Final FourAll-Tournament Team recognition... Delta won 29 games each seasonwhile also winning the Bay Valley Conference Championship bothyears... finishes career as the Mustangs' all-time leading scorer,with 1,328 points.
