Coach Bento-Jackson on Markey: "Tori bringsathleticism to our front court. I'm not sure if you could find verymany post players who run the floor better than Tori. We expect herto take her game to the next level because she is capable of doingso."  

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2004-05: Had one start andsaw action in 30 contests... posted six points and three reboundsagainst Fresno State... added 10 points and nine boards vs. No. 3Georgia... netted seven points and six rebounds against UC Davis...added 10 points against Tulsa... nabbed eight rebounds againstNevada... added 13 points in 10 minutes at Portland... followedwith nine points and eight rebounds against Saint Mary's... netted12 points and seven rebounds vs. Portland... followed with eightrebounds against Gonzaga... posted six points, seven rebounds andtwo blocks in a strong all-around performance at Saint Mary's...added an eight-point, seven-rebound effort at Pepperdine... grabbedseven rebounds in second-half action against San Francisco, leadingthe team to victory... converted a three-point play against theDons to give the Broncos' first lead of the night... added 13points against San Diego... pulled down six rebounds and foursteals in the WCC final against Gonzaga. 

AS A REDSHIRT FRESHMAN IN 2003-04: Named to theWCC All-Freshmen Team... started 16 games and saw action in all 29contests, making Bronco debut against UW-Green Bay... averaged 6.5points per game... ranked 10th in the WCC in blocking (0.69) and17th in rebounding (4.7)... scored two points and grabbed tworebounds... added four points at Pacific... netted eight points,four rebounds and four assists against No. 10 Georgia... grabbednine points and five rebounds off the bench at Nevada... posted 17points off the bench against Oklahoma State, and grabbed sixrebounds... back-to-back lay-ups gave SCU a five-point lead underthe two-minute mark... recorded 10 rebounds at UT-San Antonio...notched a career-high 11 rebounds at Loyola Marymount... a sparkoff the bench against San Francisco, notching nine points, sevenrebounds, three assists and three steals in 20 minutes... addedanother nine-point, seven-rebound effort in the team's next outing,against Saint Mary's... netted a career-high 18 points againstLoyola Marymount, on 8-11 shooting... had a 12-point, nine-reboundperformance against San Francisco in the WCC First Round.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2002-03: Redshirted the seasonafter breaking a bone in right foot in August.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played center for head coachDarrell Hirashima at Miramonte High School in Orinda, Calif... ledteam to state championship, marking the first time in Miramontehistory that any team went to the state championship in anysport... prep squad posted 20 wins in last two seasons... aMcDonalds All-America nominee... earned NorCal Division III, ContraCosta Times, and Sport Focus Player of the Year honors... received2001 All-America honors from the GYM Rat Rating Service and wasnamed a Who's Who in High School Sports... named All-DiabloFoothill Athletic League all four years... was selected as one ofthe top 25 Juniors in California by Cal Hi Sports and a Top 20Junior by NorCal Prep Hoops... earned selections to All-Star squadsfor Cal Hi Sports and Nor Cal Prep Hoops as a senior... holdsscoring, rebounding, blocking records at Miramonte... averaged 20points and 12 rebounds as a junior and senior while being selectedto the All-State underclass team... participated in the adidas DeepSouth Shootout in 2001... selected as All-Tournament at the PacificAAU Qualifier Tournament where team placed second in the region...also a member of the school's yearbook staff.
