AS A SOPHOMORE IN 1999: A second-team All-WCC selection... one of three players on the Santa Clara squad who played in all 24 games... started in 23 games, netting one goal and adding six assists... came off the bench at Washington... recorded first point of the year in the championship game of the Santa Clara/Nike Classic, assisting on a goal during the Broncos' 9-0 rout of Alabama... scored first collegiate goal on Oct. 14 against Cal Poly, from 22 yards out at 58:47 as Santa Clara won 6-1... finished the year with assists in three of the last five games, all against WCC foes... assisted on Devvyn Hawkins' game-winning goal against Portland on... followed that by assisting on Mandy Clemens' game-winning strike of a 5-1 victory against No. 12 San Diego... assisted on Jacqui Little's goal just before halftime that gave the Broncos a 3-0 lead en route to a 7-0 win against UCLA in the second round of the NCAA Tournament... fed Hawkins for the final tally in a 3-0 defeat of Connecticut in the national quarterfinals.
AS A FRESHMAN IN 1998: A second team NSCAA All-Far West selection... teamed with her fellow backfield mates to hold opponents to only three goals... only freshman to have played in all 24 matches, earning 19 starts... recorded four assists... got the starting nod in her first collegiate game, lining up at midfield at Cal Poly... recorded first career point in the conference opener, notching an assist during Santa Clara's 7-0 victory over the visiting Pepperdine Waves... helped seal the Broncos' 3-1 home win over Fresno State on Sept. 19, feeding Kylie Bivens for the final goal of the game at 71:58... notched an assist on Jacqui Little's game-winning goal during a 4-0 victory at San Francisco, a win that wrapped up Santa Clara's first outright WCC Championship since 1993... recorded an assist on Jacqui Little's game-winning strike against No. 19 BYU in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
NATIONAL TEAM EXPERIENCE: Named to the U.S. National Team roster for the 2001 European tour that played against Italy before taking part in the Algarve Cup... with teammate Devvyn Hawkins, started in the defense in a 1-0 loss to Italy... started four of five matches as the team placed sixth in the cup after a loss to Norway... earned her first cap in 2000, also against Italy, when she came in as a substitute in the 68th minute... was part of the gold-medal winning 2000 Nordic Cup squad.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played at Saint Francis High School in Mountain View, Calif... led the Lancers to a pair of Central Coast Section championships in her four years... led Saint Francis to a 3-1 victory over a highly touted Presentation squad which featured current teammates Danielle Slaton and Aly Wagner in 1997... was selected Saint Francis' Offensive MVP as a sophomore, junior and senior... named first team All-CCS as a junior and senior... honored as the San Jose Mercury News Sophomore and Junior of the Year... named to the Parade All-America squad following senior season... graduated with a 3.6 grade point average... was a four-year member of the school's honor roll and National Honor Society... selected the school's Scholar Athlete of the Year as a senior... played club soccer with coach Phillipe Blin's Central Valley Mercury of San Jose, Calif... teamed with fellow Broncos Slaton and Wagner to lead the Mercury to an unprecedented three consecutive national championships in 1996, '97 and '98... team finished with an 82-0-2 record in three seasons... overall, Mercury captured six state titles, five regional championships and three national crowns.
