AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2002: Started on 16 occasions and saw action in 19 contests... has compartment syndrome in both legs and sat out against California and Portland... returned to the field in second-half action against Pacific.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2001: Saw action in 13 matches... missed three matches due to leg injuries.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played for head coach Richard Hinojosa at Saint Francis High School in Mountain View, Calif... was a member of the two-time CCS Champions as her team also won the De Anza League two straight seasons... was the team's captain and a three-time All-League honoree... named the team's defensive MVP as a junior and overall MVP as a senior, while earning the Senior Athlete of the Year award at Saint Francis... Earned the DeAnza League Defensive Player of the Year award in 2001... named to the 2001 San Jose Mercury News second team... played with current Bronco Kristi Candau at Saint Francis for two seasons... as a member of the Santa Clara Sonic with newcomers Alyssa Sobolik and Lana Bowen, won the State Cup twice and reached the Western Regional finals two straight years.... is also an All-County field hockey player.
