Biography

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2001: Assisted on both Zepeda's goals in the season opener... teamed with Zepeda again at San Jose State... Zepeda returned the favor and assisted on a goal at San Jose State and vs. Florida State for the game-winner... the duo has scored a combined five goals, all within a match's opening six minutes of either half... assisted on Wagner's goal against San Diego State... entered the match in the second half against Fresno State and scored unassisted goals in the 69th and 71st minute... added two goals against Gonzaga... started the season's first six contests and finished with 16 total starts... saw action in all 25... finished fourth on the team in points, with 21 from eight goals and five assists.

NATIONAL TEAM EXPERIENCE: Currently a member of the U19 National Team and was also a part of the U18 squad... selected to U.S. Soccer's All-American team for the 2001 adidas Cup in Houston but was unable to compete due to injury.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played for head coach Melissa Kulp at Langley High School in McLean, Va... led Langley High School to its first district championship in 14 years, in 1999... the team repeated as district champions in 2000 and `01... also during senior year, team won the Northern Region Championship and earned a national ranking, peaking at No. 19, for the first time in school history... team finished season as State runners-up... recorded 98 goals and 32 assists in prep career... a Parade All-American... named the Gatorade and NSCAA/adidas Virginia Player of the Year... is a two-time recipient of the Washington Post's Player of the Year award... a three-time Washington Post All-Met First team member... also an honorable mention honoree in 1998... also an NSCAA/adidas high school girl's first team All-American, a three-time All-State first team member, a three-time Northern Region Player of the Year, a four-time All-Northern Region and Liberty District First team member and a two-time district player of the year... club team, the Chantilly Hotspurs, are five-time State Cup champions and reached the final four of the U.S. Youth Soccer Association National Championships last season as the East Region Champions.
