A second-team All-WCC selection... earned All-Tournament Team honors at the College Cup... named a preseason All-American by Soccer Buzz Magazine... was slowed by leg injuries during the season... earned all-tournament team honors at the Notre Dame Classic... started 12 times and saw action in 24 contests... sat out match against San Jose State and San Francisco to rest legs for WCC title run ... earned first goal of the season against Clemson... added an assist in that same match... returned to the starting lineup against Portland and started the play that led to the game-winning goal... moved to the midfield for that contest, as well as Pacific and Gonzaga... scored the first two goals against the Bulldogs... sprained right knee in opening minutes against Creighton in the NCAA First Round... returned to starting lineup against Arizona State and scored the team's third goal... moved to forward against Michigan and scored the game-winner, duping three defenders before taking her shot... scored twice against North Carolina in the College Cup semifinal.
AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2001: Named a third team all-American... named an honorable mention preseason all-American... a first-team NSCAA All-West Region Team member... earned first-team All-WCC honors... named to the College Cup All-Tournament Team... scored first goal of the season within first six minutes of first match against Cal Poly... added second goal later that night... posted a goal and an assist against San Jose State... added an assist for Tahmassian's game-winner against Florida State... teamed with Tahmassian to score a combined five goals, all within a match's opening six minutes of either half... netted a goal and an assist against SMU... added an assist against SDSU en route to all-adidas Classic honors... was fouled while breaking toward the goal against Saint Mary's, setting up Wagner's free kick that was converted into the game-winner... registered a game-winner against LMU... added her fifth game-winner of the season against Portland to guarantee a share of the WCC title... sat out against San Diego while nursing her legs... did not practice the last two weeks of the season... was taken down in the penalty box in the ninth minute against Dartmouth in the NCAA Third Round and was awarded a penalty kick that Wagner converted for the game-winner... did not start against Virginia in the NCAA quarterfinal in order to rest shin splints, but scored within 10 minutes of being substituted... repeated that situation in the College Cup semifinal, not starting against Florida, but scoring soon after entering contest... added sixth-game-winner of the season in overtime against the Gators to propel SCU into its first-ever national championship contest... did not play most of the second half against North Carolina after sustaining a bruised shin... started 21 of 25 contests... finished third on the team with 29 points on 11 goals and seven assists... six of those 11 goals were game-winners... averaged 1.21 points per game, the league's sixth best mark.
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2000: Earned NSCAA/adidas West Region second team honors... was the WCC's Co-Freshman of the Year, sharing the honors with Pepperdine's Lacey Ubaldi... also the fifth straight Bronco to earn the rookie honor... an All-WCC first team selection... named to the All-Tournament Teams at the KeyBank Classic, adidas Bay Area Classic and the Santa Clara/adidas Classic... was named to Soccer America's Team of the Week Sept. 27... nine assists on the season, third best in the league... a SoccerBuzz second team freshman All-American and All-West Region team member... hampered by stress fracturess during the entire season.
NATIONAL TEAM EXPERIENCE: Named to the U.S. U21 National Team for the 2001 Nordic Cup but did not compete due to injury... one of four high school students named to the 30-team U.S. Olympic training roster... a veteran of four caps on the U.S. National Team... a member of the national team that captured the championship in January's Australia Cup, netting a goal in an 8-1 victory against the Czech Republic... has played for the Under-16, Under-18 and Under-21 National Teams, starting for the gold-medalist Under-21 U.S. squad in the 1999 Nordic Cup.
