AT SANTA CLARA: Joined the Broncos for her final year of eligibility after an outstanding four-year career at Boston College.

AS A GRAD STUDENT (2024): Played in 91 sets and 23 matches in her only year with the Broncos ... Led the team with 279 kills ... Was third on the team with 182 digs ... Had seven double-doubles and 15 games with double figure kills ... Had a career high 22 kills vs. Fresno State on Sept. 14 ... Was named to the Catcholic Challenge All-Tournament Team and received All-WCC Second Team honors.

AT BOSTON COLLEGE: Made 107 total appearances and played in 305 total sets in four seasons with the Eagles ... Racked up 630 career kills (an average of 2.07 per set), 461 digs, 88 total blocks and 82 service aces ... Played 103 total sets and made 32 appearances as a senior in 2023 where she tallied 217 kills, had 29 service aces and 31 total blocks .. Best game as a senior came against UC Irvine on the road where she hit .326 and tallied a career-best 21 kills in the victory ... Her best season at Boston College came as a junior in 2022 where she helped the program capture its first-ever postseason championship in the form of the National Invitational Volleyball Championship ... Set career highs across the board in kills (280), service kills (40), total blocks (40) and digs (208) ... Tallied seven double-doubles, including two matches of the NIVC ... Notched 14 kills and 17 digs in the quarterfinal vs. Xavier and led the Eagles in the NIVC Championship Match against Drake wit ha season-high 19 kills and 16 digs. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Starred at University High School in Normal, Ill. ... Helped lead to the team to undefeated league championship titles in 2018 and 2019 ... Named to both the all-state second team and all-conference first team as a senior after totaling 337 kills, 259 digs and 59 aces. 

GET TO KNOW ALAYNA: Originally from Normal, Ill. ... Parents are Bryan and Jenna Crabtree, who both played collegiate basketball at Illinois Wesleyan ... Father, Bryan, also spent seven seasons playing professionally in Europe... Sister Adriana, runs Track & Field and Cross Country at Illinois Wesleyan (current junior). She was a Second Team All-American in the mile and a National qualifier for steeplechase event.
