AS A SOPHOMORE (2023): Played in 20 matches in her sophomore season … Closing out with 60 digs, she averaged 1.15 digs per set as a defensive specialist … Her career and season high digs was at N.C. Central where she finished with 10 (Sep. 14) … With 13 total service attempts, she recorded one ace at Saint Mary's on Nov. 14. Â
AS A FRESHMAN (2022): Appeared in two games as a freshman … Made her career debut against Idaho on Sept. 3Â
HIGH SCHOOL: She graduated from JSerra Catholic High School in San Juan Capistrano Valley, California in 2021 ... During her senior year, she was named a second team All-Trinity League selection and played a key role in her team's historic 24-4 record, contributing 225 kills and 295 digs ... She was recognized as the Player of the Match in the CIF Semifinal against Etiwanda ... Maintaining a balance between academics and athletics, she earned Scholar Athlete honors from 2018 to 2021 ... Additionally, she played beach volleyball in 2018 and 2021 ... Prior to high school, she earned Three-Time Napa County Player of the Year honors from 2016 to 2018 and recorded over 1,000 career kills ... In 2018, she led her team to victory as the Vine Valley Athletic League Champion and was named VVAL MVP ... She also received various accolades including First Team All-Marin County Athletic League in 2017 and Second Team All-State by MaxPreps California Small Schools in 2017 ... Her volleyball journey began with recognition as Second Team All-MCAL in 2016 and inclusion in the PrepVolleyball Freshman 59 list in 2015.
GET TO KNOW HAYLEY: During her club career, she won bronze at Nationals while on 15-2s (2019) and won silver at the Salt Lake City Showdown for the 18-2s team in 2022 … In her last year of club, her team earned a bid to play in the Liberty division and they also won bronze at the SCVA Qualifier in 2022 … She was recognized as Player of the Month throughout the whole club, as well as that same recognition on the team each year of her career … Hayley enjoys surfing, playing beach volleyball, cooking, playing with her dog Pickles, and skiing … She volunteers her time with Friends of Cathryn (FROC) a foundation for pediatric cancer … Her father, Paul Hahn, played golf at San Jose State and became a PGA professional golfer.Â
