SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara men's tennis extended its win streak to eight with a 6-1 win over Sacramento State on Sunday at Degheri Tennis Center.
In singles play,
Robert Seby defeated Miller, 6-4, 6-1 on court No. 2 to clinch the match. Just prior to the clincher,
Andrew Gu, playing the first position, defeated Mikus Losbergs in straight sets 6-3, 7-5 to remain unbeaten in singles this season with a 8-0 record.
Connor Garnett suffered his first loss of the season but still posts the second best singles record (7-1) on the team behind Gu.
Iliopoulos, Barajas and Khan each picked up a doubles and a singles win on Sunday.
Santa Clara will look to extend its winning streak to nine when it travels to Cal Poly to play the Mustangs on Saturday. First serve is at 1 p.m. PT.
