PORTOLA VALLEY, Calif. – Santa Clara men's and women's tennis played in the second annual Taube Challenge Cup on Sunday in the World Team Tennis Style format competition among four Northern California schools - Santa Clara, San Francisco, UC Davis and Menlo College.  The Broncos played their head-to-head match against UC Davis and lost narrowly by a 19-17 margin.

• The men's team will next play at the ITA Super Regional Championships in Stanford, California starting this Friday.  Guillaume Dalmasso and Christian Lerby have qualified for the championships.  The women's team will play their final fall tournament at the Saint Mary's Fall Invitational from Oct. 27-29.
