AS A GRADUATE STUDENT (2023-24): Team co-captain along with Guillaume Dalmasso ... named to the WCC All-Academic Team as well as All-WCC first team singles and second team doubles ... recipient of the Carroll Williams Award, presented annually to seniors who best define what it means to be a SCU student-athlete, someone who excels in the classroom and athletically, while making an outstanding contribution in community building ... finished No. 10 in singles and No. 6 in doubles (along with Guillaume Dalmasso) in the ITA Northwest Regional individual rankings ... had an overall record of 18-10 in singles and 17-10 in doubles ... reached a high of No. 42 in the ITA Division I Men's National Singles Rankings ... FALL: Entered the preseason rankings No. 84 but moved up to No. 44 in the final rankings after picking up two wins each at the ITA All-American Championships and at the ITA Super Regional Championships ... went 4-2 in the ITA singles events ... had a 7-3 singles and 1-3 doubles record in all fall events ... SPRING: Had a 11-7 singles and 16-7 doubles record ... played atop the singles lineup all season ... played at No. 1 doubles for the majority of the season all while paired up with Dalmasso ... played four matches at No. 2 doubles alongside Luca Lemaitre ... won a season-high four straight singles matches (April 13-25) all coming against WCC opponents (fourth victory came in the WCC Tournament) ... went 3-2 in WCC singles play ... delivered the 3-all match clincher against UC Davis (Feb. 10) ... in doubles action, went 14-5 on court one and 2-2 on court two ... along with Dalmasso, defeated the No. 45 doubles team, Gleb Blekher and Felix Nordby of Northwestern, at the UTR Sports NIT Championships (May 5) ... won a season-high six straight doubles matches (Jan. 21 - Feb. 16) to start the spring campaign ... went 4-3 in WCC doubles matches.

AS A GRADUATE STUDENT (2022-23): Mid-season transfer from Arizona State ... made the ITA Division 1 Men's National Singles Rankings at No. 117 (April 11) ... finished with a ranking of ninth in the ITA Northwest Regional individual rankings ... named to the All-WCC Second Team for singles ... had an overall singles record of 15-3 and a doubles record of 11-8 ... FALL: Did not see action as he transferred mid-season ... SPRING: Had same dual and overall singles and doubles records ... played 12 singles matches on court three going 11-1 ... went 5-1 against WCC opponents in singles ... defeated two ranked opponents in Columbia's Max Westphal (75) and BYU's Wally Thayne (123) ... at one point had a lossless streak of 10 matches of which he won eight of (March 4 - April 8) ... delivered clinching point at 3-3 in match against No. 65 Gonzaga ... played all of his doubles matches on court two where he went 4-2 alongside Guillaume Dalmasso, 3-3 alongside Mann Shah, and 4-3 alongside Jack Pulliam.
 
PRIOR TO SANTA CLARA: In three seasons at Arizona State, posted career dual match record of 30-25 in singles and 21-22 in doubles ... during sophomore campaign in 2020-21, went 12-8 in singles playing mostly sixth in the lineup and had an identical 12-8 record in doubles at the No. 3 spot ... made the Honor Roll during autumn 2020, spring 2021 and spring 2022.  

PRIOR TO ARIZONA STATE: Attended high school at the K12 International Academy from 2016-19 in Thun, Switzerland and graduated with a 4.0 GPA ... also attended Gooische School in The Netherlands.            .

GET TO KNOW CHRISTIAN: Father, Søren Lerby, was a former Danish professional men’s soccer player ... sister, Clarine Lerby, plays tennis at Columbia University ... enjoys soccer, Formula 1, and playing chess.
