SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. –
Tess Heal has been named the
West Coast Conference Player of the Week after leading the Broncos to a pair of blowouts over
CSUN and
at Oregon last week. This is Heal's first Player of the Week honor after being named Freshman of the Week a conference record 12 times last season.

Heal averaged 20.0 ppg in the Broncos two games while going 13-of-22 from the field and 6-of-7 from beyond the arc. She also added 13 assists in the pair of wins.

Against the Matadors, Heal scored 19 points while going 4-of-5 from downtown to help Santa Clara to a monster 71-39 victory. She followed it up with 21 points as the Broncos routed the Ducks 89-50. In that game she was 9-of-13 from the field and dished out eight assists.
