SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara Athletics had another impressive quarter in the classrooms during the 2023 spring term. A total of 344 student-athletes combined for a 3.375 GPA for the final quarter of the academic year.

Women's golf claimed the highest GPA of any team with a mark of 3.753. Volleyball was right on their heels with a 3.710 and women's cross country/track & field rounded out the top three with a mark of 3.597.

The men's side was led by tennis' 3.598 GPA. Men's cross country/track & field was second with a 3.512 and men's soccer was third at 3.448.

Other highlights from the term include:
- 42 student-athletes earned a 4.0
- 59 student-athletes earned between 3.75-3.99
- 83 student-athletes earned between 3.50-3.74
A total of 137 student-athletes have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher at the end of the spring term.
