Men's Golf Wraps Up Day Two In Arizona

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. - Santa Clara men's golf turned in a 1-over 285 in the second round of the Maui Jim Intercollegiate. Calder Overfelt had the best individual round of the day with a 2-under 69.

ROUND HIGHLIGHTS:

Overfelt was a lone hole away from a bogey-free round. He birdied Nos. 2 and 12.
Joey Hayden was under par for the second-consecutive day as well with another 1-under 70.
Overfelt is the top Bronco individual in the standings in a tie for 36th at 3-under 70-69--139.
Hayden (2-under 70-70--140) is tied for 40th, Nolan Forsman (1-under 69-72--141) is tied for 48th, J.P. Odland (2-over 70-74--144) is tied for 61st and Jeffrey Kwak (5-over 73-74--147) is tied for 70th.
The Broncos are in 13th at 4-under 279-285--564.

MAUI JIM INDIVIDUAL AT LEGENDS TRAIL

Jolo Magcalayo and Will Celiberti each turned in very impressive days to climb up the leaderboard on the final day of play.
Magcalayo shot a career-low 65 in the second round and followed with a 70 in the final round to climb the board to a tie for 10th at 6-under 75-65-70--210.
Celiberti turned in a 70 in round two and followed up with a 66 on the final 18 to tie his teammate in 10th place at 6-under.
Muzzy Donohue also had a big day with a second round 67 that helped launch him up to a tie for 13th at 5-under 73-67-71--211.
Eugenio Bernardi also had a round in the 60s with a 67 in the final round to secure himself a tie for 29th at 3-over 77-75-67--219.

The final round of the Maui Jim Intercollegiate will be played on Sunday.
