SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – Santa Clara men's tennis player Alexander Watanabe Eriksson advanced to the finals of both the doubles and singles B flight at the UC Santa Barbara Invitational on Saturday.   
 
HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Watanabe Eriksson and his doubles partner Luca Lemaitre teamed up to beat Hawaii's Karl Collins and Andy Hernandez 8-5 in the semifinals to move on to Sunday's final where they will face UCSB's Conrad Brown and Dominique Rolland.  
• In singles play, Watanabe Eriksson downed Pelayo Redriguez of UC San Diego in straight sets 6-4, 6-4 in the quarterfinals before taking care of Matei Gavrea from UCSB 7-6, 6-3 in the semis.  The Bronco junior who played his freshman season at UCSB before transferring to Santa Clara will face Cal Poly's Baastian Westrate in the finals on Sunday.
