FRESNO, Calif. - Santa Clara women's golfer Meva Schmit had the top finish for the Broncos at the Fresno State Classic, finishing in a eight-way tie for 11th at 3-over 219. The finish was her third inside the top 15 on the year. The Broncos had their best round as a team of the event on the final day of competition, turning in a 12-over 300 to finish in 15th. 

ROUND HIGHLIGHTS:

• Schmit climbed nine spots in the final round by turning in her second-straight round at even par (72). She had just two bogeys on the day and rolled in birdie putts on Nos. 15 and 16. 
• Schmit's three top 15 finishes are the most on the team. It's also her third top-20 finish, which is one shy of Audrey Brust for the team lead. 
• Inara Sharma, playing as an individual, had the top individual round of the day for the Broncos, turning in a 2-under 70 that included four birdies and an eagle on the par-5 16th. The sub-par round launched her 38 spots in the standings to tie for 49th at 10-over 226. 
• Patricia Garre Munoz, who played in the No. 1 spot for the first time this season, tied Sharma in 49th. She also saved her best round for last with a 1-over 73 on Tuesday to climb 17 spots. 
• Brust and Kelsey Kim each tied for 75th at 15-over 231 while Lauren Shew tied for 87th at 18-over 234. 
• Colorado State won both the team and individual titles. The Rams were 3-over 284-296-287--867 as a team while Andrea Bergsdottir won medalist honors by two strokes at 4-under 69-75-68--212.
