SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. –
Tess Heal has been named the
West Coast Conference Player of the Week for the sixth time this season. Heal led the Broncos to a pair of wins, including a program-high-tying 40-point performance on Saturday.

Heal carried the Broncos to victory at Pacific to wrap-up the regular season. She was 12-of-19 from the field and 14-of-16 from the free throw line while adding seven assists. The 40 points tied Nici Gilday (2011-15) who also scored 40 February 27, 2014 at home vs. LMU.

The sophomore sensation scored 15 in the Broncos final home game of the year against LMU on Thursday night. She tied her career-high with 10 assists for the double-double.

The Broncos finished the season at second place in the WCC, their best finish since 2007-08 when they also ended the season in second place.

They will get a bye into the semifinals of the
WCC Tournament and play Monday, March 11 at 2:30 p.m. from the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas.
