UNIVERSITY PLACE, Wash. - Santa Clara women's golf wrapped up their second of four fall events on Tuesday with a 13th place finish at the Leadership and Golf Invitational held at Chambers Bay.
ROUND HIGHLIGHTS:
- Freshman Amy Im led the Broncos with a tie for 22nd, carding a 4-over 73-72-75--220.
- Kelsey Kim tied for 39th at 9-over 75-73-77--225.
- Audrey Brust (72-77-80--229) tied for 53rd, Proud Sriwongngam (79-77-77--233) tied for 69th and Sonia Hao (76-79-81--236) tied for 75th to round out the Bronco contigent.
- The Broncos finished 40-over 296-299-309--904 as a team. USC was the lone team in the field of 16 to finish under par, tallying a 5-under 859 to distance themselves from GCU (868) for the team title. San Francisco's Riana Mission and USC's Catherine Park tied for medalist honors at 8-under 208.
