Xie joins the Broncos after an incredibly productive two years in junior events, which includes five top-10 finishes on the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) and medalist honors at the 2025 New Zealand U19 Championship. He recently placed ninth at the New Zealand Amateur Championship and qualified for the U.S. Junior Amateur Championship where he finished 65th.

Xie also turned in top-10 finishes in New Zealand at the 2025 North Shore Classic (2nd), 2024 Jack Newton International Junior Classic (2nd), 2024 New Zealand U19 Championship (3rd) and 2023 Auckland Provincial Match Play Championship (2nd). He won medalist honors at the 2024 Auckland Stroke Play Championship.

Xie has also excelled in America on the AJGA, turning in an eighth-place finish at the 2025 PGA West Junior Championship and four more top-10 finishes during the 2024 season.

"We are very excited to have Ryan join the Bronco Family," head coach Andrew Larkin said. "Ryan comes in to Santa Clara after a strong junior career, competing for major golf titles in multiple countries.
