SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Santa Clara forward
Sophie Glancey has been named the
West Coast Conference Player of the Week after leading the Broncos to a 91-72
win at Grand Canyon on Sunday, the team's third win in a row and their sixth in the last seven games.

Glancey scored a season high 29 points, one off her career high, on 8-of-15 shooting from the field and a perfect 13-of-13 from the free throw line while adding eight rebounds as well.

Her 13 made free throws tied her career high set last season against Montana. It was also just the fifth time in program history a Bronco was perfect from the free throw line with at least 13 attempts. The record is 15 accomplished twice (Tess Heal 2/16/23 and Melissa King 12/16/91). King also went 14-for-14 (11/23/91). Glancey tied Nici Gilday (1/2/14) with the 13 makes in as many tries.

Santa Clara returns to action Sunday with the nonconference finale at North Texas.
