PALM DESERT, Calif. - Santa Clara women's golf played their second day at the Alice and John Wallace Classic, shooting a 15-over for the second straight round to put themselves at 14th place at 30-over 598.
ROUND HIGHLIGHTS:
- Santa Clara accumulated 11 birdies and 118 pars over the first two days of the Classic.
- Sophomore Kelsey Kim continues to lead the group after turning in a 3-over 74 in the second round to the finish the day tied for 28th at 4-over 146.
- Chloe Lam is three strokes behind Kim at 7-over 73-76--149.
- Proud Sriwongngam had the best round of the day for the Broncos, turning in a 1-over 72 to vault 30 spots in the standings to tie for 57th at 9-over 79-72--151.
- Oregon and USC continued with their strong performances, remaining the only teams in the field of 21 to finish the round under par, with Oregon leading at 16-under 552.
- Oregon's Kiara Romero is currently leading individually at 6-under 136.
