SPOKANE, Wash. - Santa Clara women's golf couldn't have asked for a better way to open their 2025-26 season. The Broncos shot a final round 1-over 289 to keep their foot on the gas and capture the Kalispel Invitational team title with a 10-stroke victory over second place Gonzaga. The Broncos finished the event 4-over 295-284-289--868 - good for the sixth-best score to par in program history. The victory is the 19th team championship for head coach Krystal Kelly, now in her 16th year at the helm of the program. 

Junior Kelsey Kim once again led the way for the Broncos individually, shooting her second-consecutive 2-under 70 in the final round to finish 4-under 212 overall. She finished just two strokes behind Gonzaga's Grace Lee for individual medalist honors. 

ROUND HIGHLIGHTS:

• Kim's 4-under 212 finish is both a career-best and tied for the sixth-best 54-hole score to par in program history. 
• This is Santa Clara's second-consecutive team title dating back to last season. The Broncos ended the 2024-25 campaign by capturing the 2025 National Golf Invitational. 
• Audrey Brust also shot under par in Tuesday's round, turning in a 1-under 71 to finish the event tied for eighth at 2-over 74-73-71--218. 
• Brust moved up in the record book for career rounds under par (tied for fourth with 12), top-10 finishes (7th with seven) and top-20 finishes (tied for 6th with 18). 
• Alexa Pineda tied for 16th at 6-over 222 with Chloe Lam right behind her in a tie for 20th at 7-over 223. 
• Proud Sriwongngam had her best round of the tournament on Friday, carding an even-par to climb 17 spots into a tie for 22nd at 8-over 224 total.
