VALENCIA, Calif. – Santa Clara women's golf concluded the Bruin Wave Invitational with a ninth-place finish, posting a three-round total of 304-313-307--924 at the Valencia Country Club. Sophomore Kelsey Kim tallied her fourth top-20 finish of the season, tying for 16th at 9-over 225.
ROUND HIGHLIGHTS:
- Kim shot a 4-over 76 in Tuesday's final round to finish the event 9-over 70-79-76--225. She tallied a team-high 10 birdies across the tournament.
- Junior Audrey Brust had her best round of the tournament on the final day of action, turning in a team-low 2-over 74 that included three-straight birdies to close out the back nine to climb nine spots into a tie for 38th at 16-over 77-81-74--232.
- Sonia Hao, playing as an individual, finished a shot back from Brust in a tie for 40th at 17-over 80-78-75--233. She had a team-leading 33 pars combined over the two days of action.
- Amy Im and Proud Sriwongngam showed power on the par-5s, each finishing 2-under par.
- Chloe Lam (235), Im (236) and Sriwongngam (238) tied for 45th, 47th and 50th, respectively.
- Host UCLA captured the team title and took the top three individual spots with Francesca Fiorellini, Tiffany Le (Ind.), and Angela Liu.
