SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Another transfer is joining Santa Clara women's basketball. Sophie Glancey from Northern Arizona is the newest member of the Broncos team. Glancey is a 6-2 forward from Boise, Idaho and attended Timberline High School.

The rising senior took home her second straight unanimous First Team All-Big Sky honor last season while also being named to the All-Defensive Team as well after being named Big Sky Player of the Week 10 times. Glancey started all 35 of the Lumberjacks games while leading the team in scoring with 18.1 ppg, 9.6 rpg, and 62 blocks. Her points per game ranked her 48th in the nation and her rebounds per game was 37th. She scored in double figures 31 times and had 19 double-doubles, tied for seventh in the country.

As a sophomore, Glancey was also a unanimous First Team All-Big Sky pick and was named to the Big Sky All-Tournament Team while taking home three Big Sky Player of the Week honors. She started all 35 games and averaged 15.7 ppg, leading the team, to go with a team-high 7.3 rpg and 44 blocks all while shooting 51.7-percent from the floor. Glancey scored in double figures 28 times with 20 points 11 times and 30 points three times. She recorded six double-doubles, including a stretch of three straight.

During her freshman campaign, Glancey appeared in 34 games and made 16 starts. She scored 7.9 ppg on 50.9-percent shooting from the field with 4.4 rpg. Glancey scored in double figures 14 times and had one double-double.

At Timberline, she was a four-year starter and two-year captain. Glancey was First Team All-Conference as a sophomore and junior and was Second Team All-State as a sophomore. The team won the state title her senior season after being runners-up the previous year.
