FAIRFIELD, Calif. - Freshman
Chloe Lam took home a top-five finish in her first-career appearance at the WCC Championship, finishing with a three-round total of 3-over 219 at the par 72 Green Valley Country Club. Santa Clara placed third as a team at 24-over 888 ahead of San Francisco, Washington State and Gonzaga.
ROUND HIGHLIGHTS:
- Kim finished her time at the championship with a 3-over 75 in the final round. She finished in a three-way tie for fifth place.
- Amy Im also maintained her positioning inside the top 10 to finish in a tie for 10th at 5-over 70-76-75--221.
- Kelsey Kim had the top round of the day for Santa Clara at 1-over 73 to climb up into a tie for 18th alongside teammate Audrey Brust at 10-over 226.
- Oregon State won the team and individual titles, finishing two strokes better than No. 40 Pepperdine at 5-over 869 to win the trophy. The Beavers' Raya Nakao completed the wire-to-wire finish to win medalist honors at 4-under 212.
