Broncos Sign International Standout To Round Out 2025-26 Roster

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara men's basketball has made the final addition to their 2025-26 roster with the official signing of freshman forward Noah Badibanga.

A 6-foot-8 prospect from Toulouse, France, Badibanga joins the Broncos by way of Elan Sportif Chalon, one of the best youth programs in France that has produced multiple first round NBA Draft picks such as Kyshawn George (Washington Wizards), Clint Capela (Houston Rockets) and Thabo Sefolosha (Philadelphia 76ers).

Badibanga has played for over three years in the French U21 League. This past season saw the big man average 13.1 points, 5.1 rebounds and 2.3 assists in an average of 25 minutes of work.

In February of 2024, Badibanga was selected to participate in the NBA Without Borders Camp, which was held during the NBA All Star Game in Indianapolis. The annual camp is organized by both the NBA and FIBA, and assembles the top U18 international prospects across the world for three days of high-level training.

Badibanga is the second Frenchman to sign with the Broncos over the last three seasons, and will look to have similar success to his predecessor – two-time First Team All-WCC pick Adama-Alpha Bal from Le Mans.

Badibanga will be one of seven newcomers on the Santa Clara roster in 2025-26, joined by fellow freshmen KJ Cochran, Francis Chukwudebelu and Bradley Longcor, and transfers Gehrig Normand, Chris Tadjo and Aleksandar Gavalyugov.
