PORTLAND, Ore. – Santa Clara women's soccer earned a 1-1 tie at Portland to start West Coast Conference play Wednesday night. The Broncos (4-4-1, 0-0-1 WCC) scored early but the Pilots (3-2-4, 0-0-1 WCC) answered right back and had their chances to pick up the win at home, but
Ally Reynolds had a big night in net to earn the draw.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Santa Clara got on the board first in the 8th minute. A corner from Jalana Kimber went to Raygen Lewis who bodied it down before hitting the underside of the cross bar and got it across the line for her first goal.
- Portland evened things in the 15th on a beautiful shot from well outside the box by Haliey Bagby that hit the far post and went in.

NOTABLE NUMBERS:
- Santa Clara got off six shots while putting three on frame. The Broncos drew five corners as well.
- Portland had 15 shots with 10 being on frame and earned six corners.
- Reynolds finished the night with a career-high nine saves, including three big in the final 10 minutes of action.
- Sophia Hill had two saves for the Pilots.
