SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara Athletics mourns the loss of Hall of Famer Trudy McCulloch '67, who recently passed away. McCulloch was inducted into the Santa Clara Hall of Fame in 1990 as a member of both the women's basketball and volleyball teams.
 
McCulloch was named a co-captain of the women's basketball team in 1966 and played for the Broncos from 1964-67. In 1966-67, she helped lead the way for a 6-2 campaign under legendary head coach and fellow Santa Clara Athletics Hall of Famer Marygrace Colby, which included victories over rivals San Francisco and San Jose State in a postseason tournament. 

McCulloch graduated from Bishop O'Dowd High School prior to continuing her education at Santa Clara University. She is a member of both schools' athletic hall of fames. Upon graduation, she began a distinguished career in education beginning in 1968.
