SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Santa Clara men's basketball junior guard
Jake Ensminger has once again been honored by the College Sports Communicators (CSC) for his work on both the hardwood and classroom as a member of the 2025-26 CSC Academic All-District Team, as announced on Tuesday. This is the second straight year that Ensminger has earned the honor.
Ensminger, who is also a two-team WCC All-Academic honoree, has posted a 3.572 cumulative GPA in his pursuit of a degree in finance. The Ulm, Germany, product started 32 of Santa Clara's 35 games this season where he led the team in assists (2.9) and was second in rebounding (5.5) while also averaging 6.5 points per outing. He closed the year with a season-high 14 points (2-3 3PT) to go with eight rebounds, three steals and two assists in the NCAA Tournament First Round against Kentucky.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's Basketball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes men's basketball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
