SAN BRUNO, Calif. — Seven student-athletes from Santa Clara beach volleyball have been named West Coast Conference All-Academic honorable mention selections, the conference office announced Wednesday.

Sophomore
Ciara Cantlen, a political science major with a 3.727 GPA, leads the Broncos with a team-best 24-10 record. She owns a 20-8 mark at the No. 4 pairs position while also contributing at the 3s and 5s. Cantlen, alongside
Alexandra Urbina, was named WCC Beach Volleyball Pair of the Week on March 9 after picking up two ranked wins at the Long Beach State Invitational, beating UAB, ranked No. 24 in the TruVolley rankings, and No. 14 Stetson. Cantlen also owns three wins this season over Power-4 program Oregon.

Junior
Noelle Niederman, a mechanical engineering major with a 3.681 GPA, has 13 wins in 2026, including seven at the No. 3 pairs spot and six at No. 4, and owns a 6-2 record at the 4s. Sophomore
Sadie Snipes, a chemistry major with a 3.241 GPA, has played at the No. 1 spot all season long and totals 17 wins, including a 13-10 mark with partner
Avery Cukjati at the top pairs.

Ava Stoddard, a finance major with a 3.784 GPA, has 16 wins on the year, highlighted by a 15-13 record at the No. 5 pairs position, while also adding a win at the No. 4 spot.

Urbina, a junior finance major with a 3.783 GPA, has 23 wins, second-most on the team, and reached the 50th match win of her career on March 28 against Saint Mary's. She carries a 23-11 record on the season, including an 18-8 mark at the No. 4 pairs and a 5-3 record at No. 3.

Teagan Wilson, a biology major with a 3.590 GPA, carries a 16-14 record while competing across the top three pairs positions, going 13-12 at No. 2, 2-2 at No. 3 and adding a win at the No. 1 spot. Sophomore
Sammy Wood, an accounting major with a 3.881 GPA, also has 16 wins while playing across the top three pairs, including a 10-9 mark at No. 2 and a 9-7 record alongside Wilson.
