Women's Basketball Adds Kaycie Dunkerley as Video Coordinator

SANTA CLARA, Calif. -  Santa Clara women's basketball has added Kaycie Dunkerley as its director of video. Dunkerley spent the previous four seasons on the women's basketball staff at Lewis & Clark.

"We are excited to welcome Kaycie to the Bronco family," Santa Clara head coach Loree Payne. "Her experience as a player and coach makes her a tremendous addition to our program. During her time as a graduate assistant at SFA, she gained experience in video coordinating and scouting within a highly successful women's basketball program. Kaycie's passion for the game and commitment to excellence will make her a valuable part of our continued growth."

As the lead assistant for the River Otters, Dunkerley helped develop three All-Northwest Conference players in her tenure.

Dunkerley joined the Pioneers staff in the summer of 2022 after spending the past two seasons working as the Video Coordinator/Graduate Assistant with the NCAA Division I Stephen F. Austin University women's basketball program.

She led the team's video and technology operations, worked with the team's post players and helped prepare and present scouting reports. During her two seasons with the Ladyjacks, Stephen F. Austin went 52-8, won the regular season and conference tournaments in both seasons and earned a spot in the NCAA Tournament both years.

Dunkerley played for four seasons at Concordia University Texas. She set the program and American Southwest Conference (ASC) record for career 3-pointers made (222) and also set the single-season mark at Concordia for threes in one year (79). She was a two-time All-Conference recipient, two-time ASC Co-Sportsmanship Athlete of the Year and three-time ASC Distinguished Scholar-Athlete Team honoree.  As a senior, Dunkerley received the ASC Scholar-Athlete Medal of Honor.

She graduated Concordia University Texas with a degree in Biology in 2020 and received her master's from Stephen F. Austin in Kinesiology – Human Performance Studies in the spring of 2022.
