AS A SENIOR IN 2024: Named All-WCC first team and to the WCC All-Academic team ... played and started in all 53 games ... made 47 starts at center field, three at left and three as the designated player ... hit in the leadoff spot in 23 games ... second on the team with a .324 batting average in all games and hit .326 in league games ... second on the team with 18 stolen bases in 20 attempts ... led the team with 12 sacrifice bunts ... all 48 hits were singles ... second on the team with 15 multi-hit games with five of those coming in 16 WCC contests ... had a season-high three hits against Southern Utah (Feb. 25) and St. Thomas (March 17) ... drove in a career-high four runs against Southern Utah (Feb. 25) ... committed just one error all season in 85 chances for a .981 fielding percentage.
AS A JUNIOR IN 2023: Academic All-District by College Sports Communicators ... named WCC All-Academic Honorable Mention ... started in 43 of 46 games ... primarily played in right field ... batted second in the lineup 17 times and ninth 13 times ... hit .277 with a .351 on-base percentage ... second on the team and seventh in the West Coast Conference with 12 stolen bases ... was caught stealing once in 13 attempts ... had five multi-hit games including a pair of career-high three-hit games against Texas Tech (Feb. 19) and Pacific (April 23) ... drove in a career-high three runs against Texas Tech (Feb. 19) ... safely reached base in 15-straight games ... tied for the team-lead with four sacrifice bunts ... fourth on the team with 25 runs scored ... committed two errors in 55 chances for a .964 fielding percentage.
AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2022: WCC All-Academic honorable mention ... appeared in 47 games and started 41 ... made 31 starts at right field, eight at left field and two as the designated hitter ... hit .233 and scored 14 runs ... third on the team with six stolen bases (in nine attempts) ... had multi-hit games against Sacramento State (Feb. 13) and Marist (March 19).
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2021: Appeared in 18 games and started 10 … hit .174 with six runs scored and an RBI … was 1-for-1 in stolen bases … made collegiate debut and first start at Stanford (Feb. 21) on opening day … got her first hit at UC Davis (March 7) and scored her first run … drove in her first run at San Jose State (March 12).
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Benicia ... for her career hit .366 with a .447 on-base percentage, 78 runs scored, and 29 stolen bases ... MVP, Coach's Award, Defensive MVP, All League honorable mention, and Scholar Athlete Award all four years ... team won three league championships and two section championships ... team captain senior year ... Excellence in Athletics Summit Award winner as a senior ... also played basketball
CLUB: Three top-10 finishes at PGF Nationals ... won a Triple Crown World Series Championship ... runner up at a Triple Crown World Series Championship.
GET TO KNOW BAILEY: Interested in sustainability and using her degree to make a positive impact on her community ... interned as a project engineer at Underground Construction during the summer of 2022 and interned at BNBuilders during the summer of 2023 ... she will be working full-time at the civil engineering consulting firm Kimley-Horn starting August of 2024 … loves working with kids and hopes to be able to introduce some of the STEM world to younger generations in the future ... in her free time, enjoys crocheting, doing calligraphy, going on hikes, bowling, karaoke, and participating in other fun activities with friends and teammates ... during the summer of 2022 of 2023, participated in a small in-house CrossFit competition and won first place of the scaled women’s division both times ... played basketball from kindergarten through high school ... has a younger brother who is majoring in mechanical engineering at San Francisco State ... has two little dogs named Pebbles and Bam Bam, like from the Flintstones ... family is made up of big movie connoisseurs which brings them together ... paternal great grandfather played baseball for the Philadelphia Athletics ... has seven immediate family members that are engineers.
