SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara women's soccer had four players honored on
the United Soccer Coaches All-West Region teams.
Annie Karich,
Sally Menti, and
Colby Barnett were named to the First Team while
Farrah Walters took home Second Team honors.

Karich was the
West Coast Conference Defensive Player of the Year and First Team All-WCC this season after starting all 21 games and scoring two goals with two assists. She made the move from midfield to center back and helped the Bronco defense allow just a 0.62 GAA and multiple goals just twice. She was a
Second Team All-West Region pick last year as a freshman.

After missing all of last season due to injury, Menti returned without missing a beat. She was also a First Team All-WCC selection and started al 21 matches. She led the team with nine assists and added four goals.

Barnett was named Second Team All-WCC and appeared in 20 matches. She scored three goals, including a pair of game-winners, and was second on Santa Clara with six assists. Barnett was named Second Team All-West Region last season as a freshman.

Walters led Santa Clara with 11 goals en route to a First Team All-WCC nod. She also added two assists for a team-high 24 points. Walters was twice named the WCC Offensive Player of the Week. The first came
September 24th after the program's 31st hat trick against Pacific and the second was
October 16 after scoring two more against the Tigers.
