SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – For the second time this year,
Farrah Walters has been named the
West Coast Conference Offensive Player of the Week. The sophomore forward scored two goals in the
Broncos' 5-1 win at Pacific on Saturday.
Â
Walters leads the team with 10 goals this season and has been red hot of late. It was her second consecutive brace, also scoring
twice at Saint Mary's on October 4, and her third multi-goal game in the teams' last four after a hat trick against Pacific on September 24 in a nonconference matchup at Stevens Stadium. That hat trick nabbed Walters
her first Player of the Week honor. She now has scored five goals against Pacific.
Â
This is the Broncos third weekly honor this year.
Marlee Nicolos was named the
WCC Defensive Player of the Week October 9 after posting six saves in a shutout of Saint Mary's.

Santa Clara return to the pitch Wednesday at 7 p.m. against San Francisco. You can purchase tickets
