Broncos on Tour: FIFA Headquarters and Zurich

ZURICH - Day four abroad featured a tour of FIFA headquarters and one of Zurich for Santa Clara women's soccer.

The day started in Zurich after a drive over from the hotel in Austria. After lunch in the area, the Broncos loaded up the bus for a quick drive over to FIFA headquarters.

The team was welcomed into the building and got to see all over the facility, including the conference room where meetings of FIFA officials take place.

The coolest moment of the day happened on the way out. An official ball from each World Cup, men's and women's, were on display near the doors, including one from the 1999 Women's World Cup, famously won by the Americans on Santa Clara alum Brandi Chastain's iconic penalty kick. The ball on display was special, as it had Chastain's signature from the tournament.

Some free time in the old town section of Zurich followed where some players (and coaches) took advantage of the nearby Limmat River and took a swin.

Tomorrow is gameday No. 2 against FC St. Gallen after some time in Liechtenstein.
