Volleyball Has Four Players Selected to CSC Academic All-District Team

SANTA CLARA, Calif. - The Santa Clara women's volleyball team had four players named to the Academic All-District® team, selected by College Sports Communicators on Tuesday. Elena Radeff, Alyssa Eimer, Grace Flanagan and Lauren Grover each landed on the team for the first time in their careers.

The four Academic All-District® honors are the most in program history. The College Sports Communicators organization updated its selection process last year, with qualified candidates automatically landing on the all-district list. Those on the list also receive consideration from a committee for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. The academic and athletic standards were elevated last year, with student-athletes needing at minimum a 3.5 cumulative Grade Point Average and must have played in 90% or more of the team's contests or started at least 66% of them.
