SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara women's tennis announced the signing of Anna Rahman from the Elite Open School in Tokyo, Japan.
Rahman has had success internationally, winning the singles titles at the ITF South Pacific Open Junior Championships and at the ITF Oceania Open Junior Championships.
"I chose Santa Clara University because I was inspired by Coach Allie's incredible career as a player and a coach," said Rahman. "I was also drawn to the school's dedication to both academics and athletics."
She also was a doubles runner-up at the ITF Guam World Tennis Tour and played in the main draw at the ITF Youth Tennis San Diego Open.
"We are excited to announce the addition of Anna to our Bronco Family. Her outstanding work ethic and competitive spirit will provide tremendous assets to our team," said Broncos head coach
Allie Will.
Rahman is the fourth signee in the 2024 recruiting class.
