Baseball Announces High-Level 2026 Schedule

The Santa Clara University baseball team is excited for its 55-game 2026 schedule, kicking off on Feb. 13.
SANTA CLARA, Calif. — Santa Clara University baseball and head coach Rusty Filter announced the 2026 schedule Friday — a 55-game slate featuring six 30-win teams from last year, five Power-4 opponents, and three programs that reached the 2025 NCAA Tournament.

The Broncos will play 31 home games and 27 West Coast Conference contests, with Seattle University joining the league this season. Santa Clara will host four Power-4 programs — California (Feb. 15-16), Pittsburgh (March 10), Clemson (April 6), and Stanford (April 21). Clemson is also one of three 2025 NCAA Tournament teams coming to Stephen Schott Stadium, along with Saint Mary's (April 10-12) and Cal Poly (May 5).

Season Tickets to the 2026 home games are available now. Click here (insert link) to purchase tickets online, call the Broncos ticket office at (408-554-4660), or email broncotickets@scu.edu. Single game tickets will be available online after Jan. 1.

"At Santa Clara, our culture has been built on us playing anybody, at any location, while showing up ready to compete," said Filter. "For 2026, we're excited to test ourselves against another rigorous schedule that includes 28 games against non-conference opponents, highlighted by a four-game series at Oklahoma out of the SEC.

"We know our strong non-conference schedule will challenge the team as we prepare to compete against our WCC foes."

Santa Clara will face six opponents that won at least 30 games in 2025, including five visiting the South Bay — UNLV (31 wins; Feb. 27-March 1), UConn (38; March 18), Clemson (45), Saint Mary's (36), and Cal Poly (43). Oklahoma (38 wins) is the sixth, hosting the Broncos for a four-game road series March 5-8 in Norman. This marks Santa Clara's second straight season with a road series at a Southeastern Conference opponent after last year's trip to 2025 NCAA Regional host Texas.

Santa Clara opens the season Feb. 13 with a four-game home-and-home series against East Bay foe California. The first two games will be played in Berkeley before the series moves to Santa Clara for the Feb. 15 home opener. The Broncos begin WCC play on the road at San Francisco on March 20-22, followed by the home conference opener against LMU on March 27-29.

Santa Clara will also host Portland (April 24-26), Pepperdine (May 14-16), and Saint Mary's in WCC play. The Broncos will travel for series at defending conference champion San Diego (April 2-4), Pacific (April 17-19), Gonzaga (May 1-3), Seattle (May 8-10), and the previously mentioned San Francisco trip.

Santa Clara's non-conference home series include UC Davis (Feb. 20-22) and Utah Tech (March 13-15), plus two midweek games against crosstown rival San Jose State (Feb. 18 and March 30). The Broncos will also play midweek road games at San Jose State (March 24), Stanford (April 15), and Cal Poly (April 28).
